The URock Tour gives unsigned artist an opportunity to showcase their talent also with mainstream artist. Artist also can have an opportunity to receive a record deal from a major label. Big Gov is definitely on the roster for representing his hometown Detroit on a big scale.  When asked what he expects from being a part of this tour, he replied, “I hope to expand my fan base, want to touch every region and it’s not just about me but also the team.” Says Big Gov. Big Gov has displayed his character is not just about self but bringing others along, and that paints a picture of being a true artist.

Since the early age of five, Hip-hop has been a huge part of Big Gov’s life.  Being born and raised in Detroit, Michigan he depicts his struggles and street tactics through conveying his life in his music. Music was something that he never chose he was born into it, his father was a singer and a host of his cousins were also very involved in music.  He’s an artist, a lyricist and a producer which gives him the opportunity to be involved in every aspect of the production of his music.  In an exclusive interview he shares some personal life experiences through the Loss of his mother in 2005 to a battle with cancer, his children and God being the greatest inspiration behind his music.  Never completely satisfied musically and personally Big Gov has no plans of stopping soon, His mom once told him, “Don’t use me as an excuse to quit doing what you love to do just keep doing what you’re doing.” Through her words he keeps going against all odds and continuing on his life journey through his music. Big Gov describes his Life Journey in these distinct words, struggle, grind, pain, progress and success.  His music will give his fans an opportunity to have a sense of connection with him.  With his Debut solo album release, “The Debt Collector” distributed by Island/Def Jam, when asked the inspirations behind this album he replied “it’s to let everyone know that he also is representing his city and to receive his props for it.

What sets his music apart from other artist is his lyrics come from the heart, if you listen to it you will get to experience his life journey and a distinct style that can’t be duplicated. Big Gov doesn’t label his music under a certain style his music is versatile with an East and West Coast appeal.  His music has been played on MTV’s Rob & Big, Yo-Momma comedy show and the hit TV series “Runs House.” Some of his music influences are Jay-Z, Nas, KRS- One, 2Pac Shakur, Rakim, Dr. Dre and Pete Rock. His Latest Project “No More Mr. Nice Gov” The fans should expect on this album for me to be a little harder and it has an aggressive approach to it.” Says Big Gov, the album has 23 tracks and it can be found on iTunes and also on the Android Market.  He has also been working on several songs with artist Pinky XXX be on the lookout for that project coming soon.  Big Gov has had collaborations with major artists due to his acting debut in feature film “Envy” with AZ, Ray J, Chico Debarge, Lisa Raye and Maia Campbell to name a few. He states the film limited him because people felt as if the role he played was all that he could do.  Big Gov states that right now in this state of his career he has no present plans of doing collaborations with major artist due to his main focus of working with artist from his hometown and continuing to build a buzz for Detroit.  When he hits the stage during this tour there is no doubt that he will grab the attention of thousands through his energy and lyrics of his music.

Who is @EricWilsonBeatz??

"Who is Eric Wilson ?", one might ask. Eric Carlyle Wilson Jr. was born, raised, and still resides in Cleveland, Ohio. He is one of the city's most sought after hip hop producers and he is very respected as an emcee. Defining his style can be a bit of a challenge since he incorporates styles from all of the regions of the U.S. and beyond. His eclecticism is very obvious as the rhythms and melodies mix and mingle to eventually grab all of the attention of any person that understands and feels the power of hard urban beats and well-composed tracks. It is also apparent that his brand of Midwestern production is definitely a creation of no one else's because of the complex, multi-layered applications of easily distinguishable instruments, such as guitars, pianos, and strings. Being that his musical influences include Dr. Dre, Rakim, and Quincy Jones, his material conveys a feeling that the music was made to reflect the intricacies of himself and not just to be rapped ov

For Chicago Illinois 26-year-old rising star Flo-Gunna growing up on the Westside of Chi-town and doing music was a stretch in itself but one he had no control of. “I feel destined to perform music. Most of my lyrics come to me in my sleep. I know how crazy that sounds but its true. Flo describes his own music as Captivating and youthful while at the same Innovational and Symbolic. “Hip-hop is about stories” Some of those stories can be meaningful but still be fun. I never chose a song that I can’t relate to in some shape or form. My music will always reflect who I am.”It is Gunna’s hope that his music will provide him with a way to give back to his community. “Chicago is in somewhat dyer straights. Not jus musically but in the overall life of the city. Anyone who gains a certain amount of stature leaves. Especially in the entertainment industry. There is nobody here to look up to. Role models and philanthropist are rare here, and its starting to effect the children which I have 2
