Tashema Chanel, hip-hop music enthusiast, is author of the fiction novel series, Ignorance Is Bliss (2011), Stuck On Stupid (2012) and Triumph Over Tragedy (2013). Tashema Chanel is currently the editor of an online magazine for unsigned hype, Indie360Mag.com.

Tashema Chanel has over five years experience in professional writing, starting as a marketing and communications fellow and as a journalist with the B2B publication, Business New Haven in 2006. Tashema Chanel has a bachelor’s in communications from the University of Connecticut and a master’s degree in journalism from Quinnipiac University.
